Telechnics is committed to safeguarding the privacy of its customers and users of its online facilities.  This privacy statement aims to govern the collection & usage of data received by Telechnics (through its websites or other means), but not to any other external website which Telechnics may have a relationship with.  You are encouraged to read the specific privacy statements of these external websites to understand how they handle privacy.

Telechnics collects your personal information through a number of means, including the usage of enquiry and registration forms, as well as every time you provide us with your details via e-mail or telephone.  When visiting our website, your IP address and referral page are logged in order to assist in the diagnosis of any system problems and to administer our website more effectively.  Such information is used to gather broad demographic information and to generate website usage statistics.  These statistics are never used to associate IP addresses with specific users/subscribers.

Your personal information is used in order for Telechnics to accomplish our goal in satisfying your requirements as a customer of Telechnics. Personal information is stored on our database and used to create marketing profiles, aid strategic development and audit website usage.

Telechnics will never share, sell or rent personal information with a third party unless ordered to by court of law.  Information submitted is only available to Telechnics employees for the purpose of contacting you or sending you information based on your specific needs and requirements, based on your information requests.

Terms and Conditions - Australia

STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE OF GOODS & SERVICES

1.   Once the goods leave our place of business, you (i.e. the customer) will be responsible for any loss, damage or deterioration to those goods (i.e. they will then be at your risk).

2.   Delivery will be at our place of business. You will be responsible to arrange and pay for freight from our place of business. Telechnics can arrange freight if you wish. We will not do this unless you request it.

3.   Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis. Subject to Clause 6, once we accept your order, you are obliged to take the goods although property is yet to pass.

4.   (a) Goods and services must be paid for on or before the 14th day from the    invoice date.

      (b)    However, payment will be due immediately if:-
              - You commit an act of bankruptcy.
              - a meeting of your creditors is called.
              -  a receiver of any of your assets is appointed or
              - a petition to bankrupt or liquidate you is issued.

       (c)    Until an overdue payment is paid, you may have to pay interest on it at 18% per annum.

       (d)    You must pay us any costs (including debt collector’s commission and solicitor and own client costs) we incur to recover (or attempt to recover) any overdue payment.

5.    (a)    Property of goods supplied will not pass to you until you have paid for them in full.
       (b)    You acknowledge that until that time you are in possession of the goods you act as bailee for us.
       (c)    Your right to possession of the goods shall cease if payment for the goods is due under Clause 4a or 4b but not paid. In this event, we may enter any premises where the goods are or are reasonably thought to be and repossess them.

Note:    Clause 5c and 6 protect us if you fail to pay on time for the goods or you become insolvent or your solvency is threatened. It is only in those cases that we would use them. This does not mean that you can ignore them. You must strictly comply with them.

6.    The following applies only to goods which have not been paid for in full :-
       (a)    Until you use or sell the goods or any products as referred to in (a), you must store them separately so that they are clearly identifiable as our property.
